The Latrobe Valley BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) is a 100 MW Battery Energy Storage System located beside the existing Morwell Terminal Station on Monash Way, just south of the Princes Freeway.

The Latrobe Valley BESS is now under construction and when complete will improve the reliability of the electricity network by storing power for use during peak periods.
