Akaysha is developing a large scale BESS adjacent to the Western Downs Substation in Queensland’s energy heartland. The BESS will support the rapid expansion of solar and wind projects leveraging existing transmission infrastructure in the Western Downs built for conventional energy. The BESS will ensure cost efficient delivery of renewable energy to customers in Queensland while supporting the network.
